After a few years of looking, we finally found our Dream location but the house did not ‘Rock our Boat’. Our plan was to buy and then work on the existing property to make it work for us. We started to put a plan together, the first step was getting a Builder on board (sorry about all these nautical terms but we are near the sea). Plans had already been drawn up by the previous owners but weren’t exactly what we wanted.

We contacted at least 5 builders, only 3 responded, one of which was Carl. He came highly recommended by Jon Hughs the Architect who had designed the original plans for the previous owner. After meeting all 3 builders, it became clear that Carl stood out Head and Shoulders above the others…. He came across as someone you could most importantly Trust and he did not let us down. Many great ideas came from Carl. He was very easy to get along with.

We’ve got to say the whole experience was Not stressful but very Exciting and an absolute pleasure. We can now say we have a Dream house in a Dream Location.
